We've removed these Samsung 94Ah cells from residential energy storage packs by milling off the laser-welded bus bars, then drilling and tapping the electrode to install 1/4"-20 studs. We use an industrial mill for each operation, which ensures repeatability and safety of the cells. Even the tapping operation is done on the mill.
These cells are great for many different applications ranging from stationary storage to EVs. In fact, they're used in the BMW i3, Fiat 500e, VW e-Golf and other EVs, and we've used them in applications ranging from solar backup to golf carts.

Tested
We tested the first few batteries we produced, charging at 30 amps and discharging at 50 amps. They tested at 99Ah with no hot spots or fireworks, and impedance was right at 0.50mΩ. All cells are checked and charged to ~3.6v for shipping per IASA and DOT regulations.
