Our 200 amp-hour* (2,500 watt-hour), 12-volt lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery is the perfect replacement for traditional lead-acid in deep cycle applications that demand long life, low weight and high performance. These include M8 screw-in terminals and are a direct drop in. Weighing in at 45.8 pounds (20.8 kg), these are less than half the weight of lead acid. They also include carrying handles to make them even more portable. This is equivalent to the popular 8D battery size.
Note that these are NOT designed for high-drain applications such as starting a motor or engine.

This battery assembly uses lithium iron phosphate cells to achieve the best combination of energy density, weight, safety and performance.
Designed to be discharged to 100% of the rated capacity, this battery is maintenance-free for life. It is half the weight of lead-acid, lasts more than twice as long, and has a flat voltage curve. For maximum cycle life, we recommend keeping charge and discharge below 100 amps, charging to 14.0 volts, discharging to 12.0 volts and operating above freezing temperatures.
All of our battery assemblies include an advanced battery management system (BMS) that protects against temperature, voltage and amperage extremes to maximize battery safety and life cycle*. Our batteries include a limited warranty and can be returned to us at any time for end-of-life recycling.
All Higher Wire renewed batteries are designed and manufactured in Arizona using our proprietary process.

*Due to slight variance in state-of-health among utilized cells, actual battery capacity may be up to 10% lower than stated.

We ship the majority of our orders by the next business day. Lithium batteries may take up to two business days to process to accommodate inspection and logging into our system.

We pack and label all lithium battery shipments in accordance with Federal Regulation 49CFR173.185, as well as USPS Publication 52 Hazard Class 9 or UPS/Fedex guidelines. Unless otherwise stated, lithium batteries are not eligible for free shipping.
We try to pack all items in an order in a single box, however we may on occasion need to ship items separately. Special shipping does not apply to lithium ion batteries, and orders that include batteries may not qualify for free or expedited shipping.
