Higher Wire has partnered with EG4 to offer complete 20- and 40-foot shipping container solar system with lithium iron phosphate battey. We've designed these container systems to be installed quickly and easily, with pre-drilled holes for 3/4" conduit (PV, AC out), 1" conduit (battery), and a 30-amp NEMA 14L-30P plug for generator or grid connection.
The battery is a 51v 304Ah (15.5kWh) lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery manufactured by Higher Wire right here in the USA. It is in a powder-coated steel enclosure and features advanced internal battery management system (BMS) and thermal management. Additional batteries can be added for an additional cost.
The 6kW and 12kW shipping container solar kits have an additional unused PV breaker to expand the PV output with a ground-mount system if desired. Contact us for a quote.
Breaker panel, mounting hardware, HVAC and 3/4" conduit is not included. Installation is not included and should be performed by a trained professional. Higher Wire can install the system for an additional fee.
Recommended System Size
- 3,000 watts: 120VAC loads only, such as lighting, small power tools, office equipment
- 6,000 watts: Up to 1.5 ton mini-split HVAC, medium-duty power tools such as welder, etc.
- 12,000 watts: Up to 2 ton mini-split HVAC, heavy tools, EV charging

Installation Tips
- We highly recommend the system is installed by a trained professional. Contact Higher Wire for system installation in the Phoenix area.
- Find a suitable place to mount the system. We recommend the north side of the container to avoid direct sunlight.
- We recommend using Unistrut (not included) to mount the battery and inverter box
- The PV system consists of 12 panels: 2 parallel rows of 6 panels. WARNING: The PV system will be above 200 volts, which can be DANGEROUS!
- PV mounting rails span across container. The included L brackets are installed in the sides of the container to avoid rain leaking in. Use sealant over the fasteners after install to further protect from rain.

We ship the majority of our orders by the next business day. Lithium batteries may take up to two business days to process to accommodate inspection and logging into our system.
Our shipping rates are based on the weight of all ordered products plus estimated weight of packaging. We make every effort to forecast an accurate shipping cost, but cannot be 100% certain in all cases. Please contact us at sales@higherwireenergy.com with any questions prior to purchase.
We pack and label all lithium battery shipments in accordance with Federal Regulation 49CFR173.185, as well as USPS Publication 52 Hazard Class 9 or UPS/Fedex guidelines. Unless otherwise stated, lithium batteries are not eligible for free shipping.
We try to pack all items in an order in a single box, however we may on occasion need to ship items separately. Special shipping does not apply to lithium ion batteries, and orders that include batteries may not qualify for free or expedited shipping.
