In a lithium-ion battery, the cathode and anode materials play a crucial role in the movement and storage of lithium ions during the charging and discharging cycles. Over time, certain regions of these electrodes may become more saturated with lithium ions than others, creating an uneven distribution akin to a partially filled bucket. This uneven distribution can result in reduced battery performance, capacity loss, and a shorter overall lifespan.

It’s also why we’re acquiring UL, R2 and ISO certifications. We want to make sure everything we do is as safe as it is sustainable.
