Our 1,000 watt-hour, 24 volt lithium-ion battery is the perfect replacement for traditional lead-acid in lower load (up to 1C) applications that demand long life, low weight and high performance.
This battery assembly uses new cylindrical lithium-ion cells to achieve the best combination of energy density, weight, and performance. Designed to be discharged to 100% of the rated capacity, this battery is maintenance-free for life. It is a quarter the weight of lead-acid, lasts upt to twice as long, and has a flat voltage curve.
We use an advanced battery management system (BMS) that protects against excessive temperature, voltage and amperage to keep the battery safe and maximize life cycle*. Our batteries come with a three-year warranty and can be returned to us at any time for free end of life recycling.
*Battery must be disconnected from load to reset the BMS following a fault.
At Higherwire, our mission is to reduce cost barriers to renewable energy storage and generation. Our battery assemblies are designed and manufactured in Tempe, Arizona, using domestically-sourced lithium-ion cells. We analyze thousands of 18650 and other cylindrical cells every day, and use those which meet our strict grading criteria to manufacture sustainable, safe, long-lasting second life batteries.

We ship the majority of our orders by the next business day. Lithium batteries may take up to two business days to process to accommodate inspection and logging into our system.
Our shipping rates are based on the weight of all ordered products plus estimated weight of packaging. We make every effort to forecast an accurate shipping cost, but cannot be 100% certain in all cases. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions prior to purchase.
We pack and label all lithium battery shipments in accordance with Federal Regulation 49CFR173.185, as well as USPS Publication 52 Hazard Class 9 or UPS/Fedex guidelines. Unless otherwise stated, lithium batteries are not eligible for free shipping.
We try to pack all items in an order in a single box, however we may on occasion need to ship items separately. Special shipping does not apply to lithium ion batteries, and orders that include batteries may not qualify for free or expedited shipping.
