Higherwire carries the most popular lithium-ion battery, the ubiquitous 18650. But we also have other typical cylindrical, hard-case lithium-ion and lithium-iron (LiFePO4) cells, including: 16650, 17670, 18350, 21700 (2170), 26650 (2665), and 32650 (3265). Since we are a Second Life specialist, the vast majority of our cells are used unless otherwise noted.
We specialize in analyzing and repurposing lithium-ion batteries of all sizes, chemistries and form factors, and all of the cells we sell are thoroughly tested and charged to approximately 40% state-of-charge (SOC) per applicable shipping requirements.
Shipping and Returns
We ship the majority of our orders by the next business day. Lithium batteries may take up to two business days to process to accommodate inspection and logging into our system.
Our shipping rates are based on the weight of all ordered products plus estimated weight of packaging. We make every effort to forecast an accurate shipping cost, but cannot be 100% certain in all cases. Please contact us at sales@higherwire.com with any questions prior to purchase.
Lithium batteries can only be shipped by ground shipping within the continental United States. We pack and label all shipments in accordance with Federal Regulation 49CFR173.185, as well as USPS Publication 52 Hazard Class 9 or UPS/Fedex guidelines. Unless otherwise stated, lithium batteries are not eligible for free shipping.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase (not terribly difficult in the digital world).
